This year, we had a steady stream of visitors-each of them beloved.
We literally hibernated in our home with all our loved ones for almost two solid weeks. We ate. We drank. We watched footballs. We laughed-hard. We rested and rejuvenated. We snuggled and cuddled-a lot. We got out-a bit, but only to ride our new scooters or take our new bikes to the park. It was glorious.

All of this togetherness and warmth helped lead me to my resolutions, or goals or dreams (call them what you will) for 2010. I have written more about that over on my Working Chick blog. If you're at all interested, click here.
The bottom line is this: I am renewed. I have a new (possibly first time) sense of what it is that really fills me, what I really want and need out of life. I am ready to grow and move forward and leave the hibernation of my house knowing that my home and all who fill it is the motivation for the good that I try to do.
